Hey all!
Well, the time has finally come and the 2009 Outdoor Conference is finally here! We are expecting a great day Saturday and hoping for a little overcast to help with the heat. The boys have been out filling the pits with water for the mud races and getting the booths and stage all set up. We have a few contests planned for throughout the day on Saturday and they’ll be getting better as the drinks get stronger. Our photo shoot will be throughout the day, capturing the fun and good times that can be had with trucks outfitted by Tough Country. We are including both our trucks and customer trucks as well in this shoot. We really want to show off how great they look in real life! If an average pictures worth a thousand words, then we’re about to save tons of typing! I’ll be keeping everyone updated here and let you know the progress. If you are going to be free this weekend and haven’t got your conference gear and invite yet, then head over to get yours now! Well, I’m off to Lane City now to fight the heat and get the place ready for some fun! Hope to see you there!
TC

P.S. I’ll be posting updates throughout the weekend through twitter. You can follow us at twitter.com/toughcountry.

Hey again,
I’ve been thinking about the photo shoot that we will be doing at the Tough Country Outdoor Conference this year, and we are currently looking for unsigned models who have a naturally fun look to them. If you are interested in applying to being a model for this shoot, email us at conference@toughcountry.com. Include your contact information, age, link to your facebook or myspace page, and a little about your personality in your own words. If you do not have a facebook or myspace page, please include a photo of yourself. Models chosen will get VIP access, conference gear, references, and digital negatives of selected photos for you to use in your portfolio. This years photo shoot theme will be “Tough Country Summer Fun”. We are hoping to capture action, laughing, and good times, while still being sexy without trying. The deadline for submission is Sunday, June 21, so hurry to send in your applications. If you know someone that you think would be good for this shoot, encourage them to send us their info. Chosen models will be notified by phone and/or email by June 23.
We look forward to hearing from yall,
TC

No word yet from the Boys in the Dominican, but, knowing them, I’d have to say that’s probably a sign that they are living it up, puffin’ on a good cigar. We are planning a trip to Moab soon for some off-road fun with jeeps! I’ll keep you guys up to date with more info on that adventure in a few days. Right now we are working on our details for the Tough Country Outdoor Conference, on June 27. That’s gonna be another blast this year and I’ll have a full post with even more details in a few days. I’d love to hear from those of you reading this so comment away!
Talk to ya Soon,

I’m gonna be keeping you up to date with some of our latest happenings here at Tough Country and hope you check in often. Right now, the Boys (Kurt, Brent, and Clay and Family) are in the Dominican Republic. I sent Brent an email telling him to be sending me updates on what they are doing but I’m not sure if he has email access there or not. He’s got a blackberry but it’s not really the latest one, so I don’t know. Actually, if we are being honest, it’s probably one of the blackberry’s that you see and say, “Oh yeah! I remember when they looked like that!” He’s talking about getting a new one, so I’ll have to keep you updated about how his technology progresses along.
We are pretty happy with the new site that we recently launched but are kinda having problems with our google searches. Apperantly, google doesn’t like when you do an overnight switch on how your pages are layed out. I can’t figure out how google can let something as simple as a site design change fool it. I mean, they almost completely dropped us from their searches. If you guys want to help out, place a link to our main page if you have a site or are mentioning us anywhere on the web. Google likes to pay attention to what people are saying. Anyways, I’ll talk to you next time.
